Tweet Archive is a free tool that captures a permanent archive.org snapshot of a tweet, plus an optional screenshot. No account, no payment, no warranty of any kind. We may change, limit, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

Don't abuse the public API (/api/v1/tweets); it's unauthenticated and currently has no rate limiting, which is a deliberate trade-off, not an invitation to send excessive traffic. Don't submit content whose archiving would violate someone else's legal rights.

Tweet Archive is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.

This service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or that any given archive attempt will succeed. Archiving depends on third parties (X's API, archive.org) outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from use of this service.
